Overview:

FUNWAVE is a phase-resolving, time-stepping Boussinesq model for ocean surface wave propagation in the nearshore. In NearCoM, it serves as a circulation module with phase resolving wave information to drive the sediment module.

Use and initialization of the module:

An input file is used to specify all the model parameters including grid information, incident wave information and physical parameters. NOTE: the module has not been linked to the master program.

Variables provided by the circulation module:

Phase-resolving wave information and time-averaged current information.

Variables required by the circulation module:

Time-dependent bathymetry, wave input.
